    Job Description

    Main duties and Responsibilities:

    • Elaborate local strategies on water, energy and sanitation, monitor its implementation across the District, and produce consolidated reports thereof;
    • Identify potential domains of investment in water, energy and sanitation and participate in the development of investment plans and mobilization of potential investors;
    • Develop, vulgarize and inspect the implementation of a local action plan forwater catchment, used water treatment, sewage, liquid waste management, rain water capturing and use of renewable energy across the District;
    • Supervise the implementation of strategies and mobilization mechanisms of local population for National Domestic Biogas and Improved Cook Stoves Programs at District Level;
    • Elaborate and supervise the implementation of strategies and mobilization mechanisms of local population for the construction and maintenance of water supply, energy and sanitation facilities and promote the rational use of water and energy.

    • Fluent in Kinyarwanda, English and/ or French; knowledge of all is an advantage
