    Legal Advisor and company secretary (1)

    The Legal Advisor &Company Secretary has a dual role consisting of playing primary responsibility for the Company legal functions as the legal advisor and attendee of the Board of Directors’ meeting, and being responsible for the corporate governance of the hospital as Corporate Secretary. The following is therefore required from the potential candidate:

    • Must be a holder of a master’s degree in law from recognized university.
    • Must have at least five years of experience
    • from reputable institution in the relevant field
    • (Preferred domains: legal advisory, company secretariat, litigation, and Business law and labour law)
    • Knowledge of hospital regulatory and legislative framework
    • Registration with a relevant professional body is an added advantage.
    • Strong writing and communication abilities in Kinyarwanda, English and French
    • Understanding of hospital regulatory and legislative framework is an added advantage
    • Rwandese by Nationality
    • Age not above 45 years.
    • To legal advice to the Management and the Board of Directors on the scope of their authority, appropriate decision-making and legal aspects of their decisions.
    • To identify legal risks associated with the operations of the hospital and proposing mechanisms for mitigating them
    • To advise the hospital management on all complaints lodged by patients that may need to be resolved by the courts
    • To ensure compliance of the provisions of hospital rules and regulations made and other statutes.
    • To draft minutes at Shareholders’, Board meetings and Executive Management
    • meetings and drafting resolutions, as necessary
    • To ensure that affairs of the hospital are managed in accordance with its articles contained in the articles of association and the provisions of the hospital policies and procedures. To ensure that all legal prescripts are known and followed.
    • To review and prepare contracts and documentation used by King Faisal Hospital, Kigali in the business of providing medical services to its clients.
    Catering Supervisor (1)
  • She/he must have a diploma (A1) in Food Production, Food science, Nutrition and hotel management.
  • Must have at least three (3) years of experience in the relevant field A minimum of in the relevant field
  • Proven computer literacy
  • Rwandese by Nationality
  • Age below 40 years
    • To ensure that all areas of the kitchens and restaurants are pest proof.
    • Manage the Implementation and on-rail management of office systems, control processes and risk management arrangements to ensure effective delivery of service
    • Monitor all ingredient quantities used in the recipes
    • To ensure that all stocks and stores are contained in pest proof containers on pallets or shelves
    IT Support Services Managers
    • She/he must have a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering Information Technology
    • A minimum of Four (4) years in managerial position
    • Having certificates in Java, Microsoft, net, C++, C#, PHP is an added advantage
    • Intimate knowledge of hospital’s regulatory, information technology principals, methodologies and procedures is an added advantage
    • Good knowledge of Database Management and Programming
    • Rwandese by Nationality
    • Age below 40 years
    • To ensure that the hospital has the correct type of technology in place now and that plans are put in place to upgrade and extend the system as required;
    • Ensure that database and hospital applications are developed according to business requirements;
    • Investigates and implements the most suitable process for a secure holding system for electronically held records in terms of suitable firewalls and other security measures to prevent theft of patient information;
    • Implement erudite methods to ensure computer security and user privacy;
    • To develop and implement a system that ensures that the Technicians deliver, tag, set up, and assist in the configuration of end-user PC desktop hardware, software and peripherals
    Information and Database Management Officer
    • She/he must have a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology;
    • A Minimum of three (3) years in relevant field;
    • Knowledge and Skills in Java Programming Language and MYSQL Database
    • Knowledge and Skills in Windows Server 2012 and latest versions
    • Rwandese by Nationality
    • Age below 40 years
    • Develop database systems of high availability and quality depending on each end user’s specialized role;
    • Manage the security and disaster recovery aspects of a database
    • Monitor database performance, implement changes and apply new patches and versions when required
    • Perform tests and evaluations regularly to ensure data security, privacy and integrity
    • Investigates and implements security measures for the safekeeping of the data and limited access controls if required
    Software Support Officer
    • She/he must have a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology (Specializing in Programming);
    • A minimum of three (3) years in relevant field
    • Knowledge and skills Object-Oriented Design (OOD)
    • Good knowledge of popular Java frameworks like JSF and Spring MVC
    • Rwandese by Nationality
    • Age below 40 years

    • Test and maintain software products to ensure strong functionality and optimization
    • To improve and maintain the existing software programs as necessary and maintain
    • Design flowcharts that illustrates software solutions
    • To assist in the setting and resetting of codes and passwords
    • Prioritize and execute tasks in the software development life cycle
    Physiotherapist
    • She/he must have a bachelor’s degree in physiotherapy
    • A minimum of three (3) years in relevant field
    • Registration with relevant professional health body
    • Knowledge with relevant professional health body
    • Knowledge in physiotherapy processes and procedures
    • Rwandese by Nationality
    • Age below 40 years
  • To ensure the patients receive high quality clinical care and a good patient experience, having regard for their customs religious beliefs and doctrines;
  • To ensure the required standard of documentation in accordance with Hospital standard for records and record-keeping;
  • To participate in research/evidence-based practice and audit clinical outcomes, to inform and lead clinical practice and set clinical standards;
  • Participate in teaching programmes for other category of personnel and training of students interns or those requiring practice during their training;
  • Occupational Therapist
  • She/he must have a bachelor\s degree in occupational therapy
  • A minimum of one (1) year of experience in relevant field
  • Registration with relevant professional health body
  • Knowledge in occupational therapy processes and procedures
  • Rwandese by Nationality
  • Age below 40 years
    • Implement safe practice of Occupational Therapy within the Para medics Service
    • Supervise aspects of care pertaining to the enhancement of movement and mobility of the clients
    • Ensuring the patients receive high quality clinical care and a good patient experience, having regard for their customers, religious beliefs and doctrines
    • To ensure the required standard of documentation in accordance with Hospital standards for records and record-keeping
    Medical Records Supervisor
    • Bachelor’s degree in health, Information management, information science, library management and other related field
    • A minimum of three (3) years experience working in medical records environment
    • Job knowledge & Skill Cooperation, Communication
    • Experience in the use of database and information management is an added advantage
    • Knowledge of national standards and guidelines
    • Computer literacy
    • Rwandese by Nationality
    • Age below 40 years
  • Implement and maintain Health Information Management Plan with associated policies and procedures
  • Implement and maintain mechanisms and processes to allow bone fide personnel access to the records
  • Implement the processes managing interruption of electronic data collection and storage systems
  • Implement frequent upgrades of the system to improve efficiency
  • Maintain Policies and process that govern the disposal of data and documentation
