    JOB TITLE: BRANCH MANAGER FOR MAHOKO BRANCH (RUBAVU)

    JOB TITLE: 1. Branch Managers for Mahoko Branch (Rubavu)

    Grade: Manager

    Job summary:

    To coordinate and supervise all areas of operation and business development at the branch by implementing strategies that increase productivity and enable the achievement of targets. He/she manages staff, fosters a positive working environment, ensures customer satisfaction and proper branch operation.

    WHAT YOU NEED TO HAVE

    General and Behavioral

    • - Sufficient knowledge of modern management techniques and best practices
    • - Ability to meet sales targets and production goals;
    • - Familiarity with industry’s rules and regulations;
    • - Excellent organizational skills;
    • - Results driven and customer focused;
    • - Leadership and human resources management skills;
    • - Fluent in English
    • - Hands-on approach to work

    Education & Qualification

    • - At least Bachelor Degree in Business Administration or in other related field

    Experience

    • - Minimum of five (5) years in business development in a financial institution. Prior experience in supervisory position would be an added advantage.

    WHAT YOU WILL DO

    Portfolio Growth

    • - Coordinate sales drives, campaigns and other opportunities to increase the retail portfolio of the Branch
    • - Develop and manage deposit and loan portfolio
    • - Plan, implement and monitor growth and quality of branch credit portfolio and the bank business plan.
    • - Conduct field visits and carry out the verification of loans to improve branch portfolio management

    Risk Management

    • - Lead the management and implémentation of Bank Risk management policy in the day today operations of the Branch
    • - Manage and ensure the reduction of NPL’s for the Branch;
    • Leadership
    • - Provide leadership to Branch staff by providing training, coaching; development and performance management
    • - Direct all operational aspects at the branch including Branch operations, customer service, human resources, administration and marketing of Bank Products and services;

    Policies and Procedures

    • - Implement and monitor the bank policies at branch level to ensure consistent application by all staff and where polices have not been applied corrective measures are taken to mitigate risk and exposure.
    • - Review coordinate, monitor and authorise all processes of account opening, reactivation, adjustment, transfer and closure of all accounts in line with bank policies, kyc guidelines and anti money laundering guidelines.

    Customer Service

    • - Create a conducive customer service environment by building strong business relationships with the customers which result in trust,
    • - confidence and contributes to retention and brand loyalty.
    • - Create a platform to receive customer feedback and address customer complaints
    JOB TITLE: DEPUTY BRANCH MANAGER & BUSINESS ADVISOR FOR MAHOKO BRANCH (RUBAVU)

    JOB TITLE: Deputy Branch Manager & Business Advisor for Mahoko Branch (Rubavu)

    Grade: Supervisor

    Job summary

    This role is responsible for managing and supervising the banking office so that customers are served with the best customer service and that all transactions are accurately concluded so as to avoid financial loss to the bank.

    WHAT YOU NEED TO HAVE

    General and Behavioral

    • - Excellent organizational skills;

    WHAT YOU WILL DO

    Account Opening

    • - - Review all accounts that have been presented for accounts authorising (opening), checking that account holders have not been black listed and that all the relevant and required information that supports the opening process has been submitted.

    ATM Supervision

    • - Manage the ATM replenishment process by ensuring that funds transfer are accurately accounted for before and after replenishment and any difference are fully investigated to conclusion

    Management of team

    • - Provide on the job training for the new products so that banking officers are aware and understand the products thus providing customers with accurate information.
    • Customer Service
    • - Create a conducive customer service environment by building strong business relationships with the customers which result in trust, confidence and contributes to retention and brand loyalty.

    Business development and growth

    • - Seek out prospective business/corporate clients.
    • - Carry out cross selling and upselling other Bank services and products

    Customer management

    • - Meet with business/corporate clients, listen to their needs and provide advice on their financial needs;
    • - Maintain consistent communication with clients.
    • - Assist clients with services and products such as loans, cash management, bank accounts opening and queries, interest rate swaps, letters of credit, foreign exchange, insurance and others.
    • - Monitor clients’ finances and commitments regularly. Maintain updated records of transactions.
    • - Develop and maintain new and existing client relationships. - Assist customers with account opening activities.

    Operations

    • - Open credit files for branch customers applying for loans.
    • - Perform secretarial activities for the branch credit committee
    • - Manage and ensure the reduction NPLs rate
