    BUSINESS ADVISOR FOR

    Grade: Senior Officer

    Job summary:

    Support the Bank’s mission through effective sales and service, targeted business development efforts and community involvement. The Business Advisor is responsible for developing and managing business banking relationships in accordance with COGEBANQUE core values and prescribed sales process in an assigned area.

    WHAT YOU NEED TO HAVE

    General and Behavioral

      Proven business and organizational skills;
      Ability to create and maintain good customers’ relationships;
      Ability to analyses and process loan applications and ability to monitor the financed projects;
      Good understanding of the Rwandan business environment;
      Must be fluent in English or in French, Knowledge of both languages is an added advantage

    Education & Qualification

      At least a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Banking, Finance, Economics or in other related field.

    Experience

      Minimum of five (5) years in business banking.

    WHAT YOU WILL DO

      Manage the Bank’s general ledger with accuracy and integrity
      Timely authorization of payments
      Efficient and timely remittances of statutory returns
      Act as the contact person for auditors looking to validate or justify figures
      Coordinate information for the annual report from every department
      Development Coordinate the annual budgeting process and periodically report on performance against budget for all cost centres, examine variances to budget, taking into account the effect of transfer pricing and revised estimates; provide explanations for remedial action
      Manage the development and performance of line staff in line with the Bank’s performance management guidelines and identified performance needs.
